The Iconix return to perform at a private event for the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital, bringing their signature blend of Motown, Yacht Rock, and iconic hits from the ’70s and ’80s0. Following the success of their performance last year, the band is thrilled to be invited back, knowing how much joy and energy live music brings to the patients and staff alike. From soulful grooves to feel-good classics, The Iconix deliver a lively set that keeps everyone clapping, smiling, and dancing along.

Performing at the hospital is a meaningful experience for the band, and one they truly look forward to. “It’s one of those special shows where the power of music is undeniable,” said percussionist Jeff Davis, who performed at the venue many years ago. Sharing timeless tunes with an audience that genuinely appreciates the connection and uplift that music provides is at the heart of why The Iconix love to play. My first Iconix experience was a Friday night concert at Celery Flats park in Portage. It was a beautiful mid-summer evening. They played for two hours without a break and I recognized all but one song. The music took me back many years to some of my favorite songs from junior high and high school. Each member of the band is incredibly talented and they work together phenomenally well. – Roland Bellman

The Iconix will entertain at the Gilmore Car Museum for the exciting 2025 Vintage Motorcycle Weekend. The Vintage Show will feature antique and vintage motorcycles, scooters, and customs, all 25 years and older. $25 admission for adults, free parking, children 10 and under are free. Saturday, September 13, 2025, come early for the music (11 AM) and stay for the fun of the museum after the last note is played at 3 PM.
